What is not considered is that the St. Louis market is not in the same mode as that is most other major markets within the United States. In fact, recently a major publication indicated that St. Louis is the third best location for safe home investment. What I intend to present here is a comparison of sales in key St. Louis neighborhoods, St. Louis County cities, and the St Charles area. The comparison shows the years of 2007-2010 and looks at number of sales, average price, average square footage, average dollars/square foot, and days on the market.
